The bedroom is super quiet and the bed is nice and comfy. The rented space is just the basement which has no kitchen but you'll have a microwave to warm up small meals. However, you have access to the patio and there's a charcoal grill and a table which you are welcome to use during the warm season (just let me know well in advance so I can get it cleaned up).
