The property manager, Paula, was communicative and quickly responsive regarding what was expected of us to abide by Maine’s current travel restrictions. The home itself was very clean upon arrival and check-in was seamless and convenient. Location was perfect - nestled in a quiet and shaded neighborhood, we felt very relaxed and took advantage of the opportunity to play cards on the covered deck and steam a lobster dinner to enjoy on the picnic table. It is a short drive (less than 10-15 minutes) to the sights of Bar Harbor, entrance to Acadia National Park, and grocery store. I also extend thanks to the property owner, Mr. Douglas, for stopping by to ask if he could take any trash out for us. He was kind enough to tell us of a good place to swim at Echo Lake.
