The railroad tracks have since been removed and grown over and the pavilion, transformed into a lovely cottage for your stay. Dunnings Creek runs right along our property, so you can enjoy a day of fishing or kayaking! ( we hope to be able to offer kayaks soon). Later in the summer, the water is warm enough to play in. We often have bald Eagle sightings, deer leaping through the yard, as well as other wildlife. Some local sights and attractions include Flight 93 National Memorial, Shawnee State Park, Raystown Lake, Old Bedford Village, Jean Bonnet Tavern, Bedford Springs, Lincoln Caverns, and numerous Covered Bridges. Most weekends over the summer, Bedford Fairgrounds plays host to various car races. Summer also brings the Farmer’s Market to the town square on Wednesdays.
