Located in Woodstock, Utah, United States. Charming Artist Cottage in Woodstock Long before the 1969 concert, Woodstock was a thriving center for artists from New York City. Writers, painters, actors, and musicians spent long summers in their studios, surrounded by nature and like-minded aesthetes. Our house was built by Maverick Colony founder Hervey White 100 years ago, and we preserved its original charms by hand. Our neighbors are the landmarked Maverick Concert Hall, the town of Woodstock (just two miles away), and the whole of the Catskills, ready for adventure. The house is 900 square feet, and features a great eat-in cooking kitchen that looks out on the forest. We have one modest bedroom with a queen bed, and one small bedroom with a full bed. The living room is comfortable for long conversations and reading books, and we have a TV area with a nice sound system for late night movies. There is one bathroom with a clawfoot tub. We have central air conditioning, good wifi, a dishwasher, and a compact laundry set up.
