The Lodge at Cannery Estate is nestled in an old-growth forest grove on Alsea Bay that the Alsea People named "Peace" and "Paradise" because of its mild climate and bountiful sustenance from land and sea. This former copper artist's workshop is now a 1,500 sf open-concept home with a rustic | contemporary | farmhouse style. It has a beautiful King bedroom, a Queen sleeping loft and a Double Serta Sleeper sofa bed to comfortably accommodate six guests (maximum four adults) The Lodge is located on the grounds of a 5-acre estate on Alsea Bay. This site was a seasonal Alsea fishing village for thousands of years, and in the 1850's became the location of the first Waldport settlement. There was a cannery, post office, general store and ferry land
