Dupont State Forest/ Mountain Biking/Hiking/Waterfalls/Pretty Place Chapel Scenic Cedar Mountain in Transylvania County is a beautiful community located halfway between Brevard and Hendersonville. The area is known as the Land of Waterfalls as it has more than 250 waterfalls in it. Asheville and Greenville are both within an hour. It is a great place to kick back and enjoy delicious food and beverages in an area full of art and awesome hangouts. This newly renovated 3-bedroom, 2 full bathroom house is situated on a 3-acre lot that is mostly wooded with wild mountain laurel and rhododendron throughout the property. The mountain laurel and rhododendron are often found in full bloom from May to late June. The property is very close to the waterfalls, hiking, and mountain biking trails in Dupont State Forest. With all 6 Dupont parking lots within 5 miles of our house, you could go biking or hiking in the early morning, back to the house for lunch, then back out again to see the waterfalls
