Bitter, a wealthy Hartford businessman. This area of Granby was a favorite of the Hartford elite for a place to β€œsummer” in the early part of the 20th Century. The cottage was the place where the domestic staff stayed when the family was staying in North Granby. With an elevation of 970, the home once had views of Hartford. Today after lots of trees grew, views are still just a minute away and the cool breezes remain!Dawn and Ken have refreshed the interior with newly sanded "pumpkin pine" floors and warm, decorator wall tones. There is over 1000 of living space. The bath fixtures are original from the 30s and the huge stone fireplace has propane fired gas logs for cozy winter nights.
