Welcome to The Mane House at Canaan Valley where you can enjoy your own private estate, while only being a couple of miles from the City of Asheville. Drive on in past the transplanted 80 year old barn and stocked pond and stay a while. The house is over 5,000 square feet with plenty of room to stretch out. There are 40 acres of hiking trails to explore if you really want to stretch out. We have lots of wildlife such as turkeys, deer, geese, turtles, etc. along with 4 horses, a flock of chickens, ducks, and a donkey named Jezzie. The pond is a wonderful place to relax. There are plenty of fish in there if you want to throw in a line. Walk in the front door and fall in love with the cathedral ceilings and winding staircase.
