This yurt was built during a class at Yestermorrow design and build school in northern Vermont that Joan participated in. We bought the finished product after the class concluded. This design was modified for modern living. The traditional smoke hole is now a plastic dome. The shell is made of waterproof vinyl rather then felted wool soaked in milk or fat.
