Central to all aspects of Mt.Desert Island and Acadia National Park. Access to washer/dryer on premises. Very quiet and private location. We enjoyed living in this cottage for 3 years until we built a home on the property, 100 yards away and secluded from the cottage. Bar Harbor has it all: activities for kids and adults such as mountain climbing, boat rides, bicycling and hiking along the shore. An oceanarium, miniature golf, and a small waterpark are less than a twenty minute drive away.The National Park Service organizes nature programs in the National Park for children and adults.
