It has a very private 400 sq. ft. suite, with fantastic view overlooking the lake. Located merely six miles from Beaver Creek boat ramp with campground, dock, and Beach area; as well as being convenient to Barren River State Park, and gas stations. Be sure to bring your camera along for watching the bald eagles fly around the lake.. This lake is managed by the Army Corp. of Engineers. The water level is regulated to be at summer levels from May through the middle of October. From the middle of October until the first part of May, the lake is at its winter level and most private docks on the lake are unusable. During this time, the lake cannot be seen from this property. The lakebed is still a fun place to walk and there is a small creek that flows year round. During the summer, the lake level stays fairly constant unless there are heavy rains or extreme drought.
