Originally built in 1917, it is now over 100 years old, with the history and charm that only comes with a century of good memories being created there. The front porch is great for watching the hummingbirds, and the large side deck can easily accommodate a pretty large group of friends. Nestled in the rhododendrons, and therefore shady and cool in the summer, the house is heated with a wood stove and small space heaters, should you need them. In the summer, it is cooled — quite effectively — by open windows, electric fans and shady trees. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. One bedroom has a double bed, the second has a double and a single, and the third has two singles.
