The Casita is located on a tree lined street and close to the hustle and bustle of downtown city life with its many shops and restaurants. We are 4 blocks from North Berkeley BART station and 5 blocks from 4th Street shops and restaurants. The delightful Cafe Leila is at the end of the block, and Acme bread is 2 blocks away - YUM! We are also 1.5 miles from the University. This is a new, street level apartment (built in 2019) and newly furnished. The casita is attached to our main home with a separate entrance and excellent insulation for privacy. The kitchen has all new appliances (frigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove, hot water kettle), staples (dishware, cleaning supplies, oils, etc), and an assortment of coffee and teas.
