Leave the world behind as you ride the funicular down to The Enchanted Cottage. The indoor living space will make you feel at home, but the real magic happens when you step onto the porch and greet the beautiful Lake Lure! This classic lakefront house features three porches, a fire pit, dock, and boats. We have a great view, overlooking the mountains, Rumbling Bald Ridge across the lake, and the spots of some famous scenes from Dirty Dancing.If you would like to rent the pontoon boat please let us know so we can get you in touch with the boat captain. The cost is $650 for the duration of your stay.The Boat house rooftop deck will not be available for the 2024 season. We have torn it down and will rebuild it in the off season.
