Located in Carmel, Louisiana, United States. Stay in a part of Carmel history. Minutes from downtown Carmel and Grand Park. Cozy guest cottage on historic 8 acres in the heart of Carmel, Indiana. The original house built in 1828 as well as the second home built in 1840 still sits on the property. The guest cottage was one of the original barns that was on the property that was converted in 1930 by a doctor that restored the property. It is just a few minutes walk to downtown Carmel with its wonderful restaurants and shops and only about a 10 minute drive to Grand Park sports complex. There are honey bees on site where local honey is farmed, as well as a great outdoor fire pit area for our guests to enjoy. The guest cottage is a completely separate structure, but we do live on the property in the main house so we are available if you need anything. We are happy to offer suggestions for local restaurants in the area.
