The famous Story Lakes are less than 5 miles up the dirt road and all you have to do is contact Belinda Story, the owner, for rod fees and availability. You must call Belinda and pay the rod fee before going to either the lower or upper lake. No trespassing past the gate if you are not confirmed and paying a rod fee to fish or sight see. There are a limited number of rods available per day so call in advance.
