Wildlife abounds around the cottage, with regular sightings of rabbits, foxes, turtles, wild turkeys, and many types of songbirds. There are several other small cottages nearby on the hillside. There is a large deck with a dining table that seats six, four Adirondack chairs, and a gas grill, as well as a fully-enclosed outdoor shower with hot water. The open-plan living space has two sets of sliding doors that open up onto the deck, providing ample natural light. There is a small but well-equipped kitchen, renovated in winter 2023.
