It has been owned by the same family since the late 1950's and is located on the family's 200 acre farm. The farm's main crops are Oregon's signature nut, the hazelnut (also known as filbert) and pinot noir grapes. The house, though not fancy, is spacious and comfortable, and has been popular with guests for several years, especially visitors to nearby vineyards and tasting rooms who are interested in relaxing in a more rural, private environment after a day of touring.
