Spring Cottage at Moak's Bend Farm Spring Cottage is a small house on an old farm property at the foot of the Helderberg Escarpment, 25 minutes southwest of downtown Albany. Solar powered and sunlight filled, the Cottage is a quiet getaway in a bucolic setting only an hour from Saratoga Springs or fishing in the Catskill Mountains. A well appointed 24 foot by 24 foot structure, it’s not a Tiny House, but it is cozy. There’s a Queen size bed and a single fold-out on the main floor, and a sleeping loft that accommodates two children or one adult. The loft is accessible by a ladder, which may not be suitable for very small children. The maximum number of guests is five, with no more than three adults. WIFI and a fully equipped kitchen make this a functional home away from home. The open floor plan of the ground level has no stairs, nor are there stairs to enter the house, making it accessible to most.
