Relax on the large decks with an expansive view of this wide, salt-water, tidal river and enjoy the eagles flying overhead. Ducks, herons, cormorants, osprey, and eagle swim in or fly above the river, sailboats zip along, and lobster boats pass back and forth, trailed by sea-gulls. If you're lucky you might even see a seal pop its head up as it swims along. Glimpses of the Basin can also be seen from the side deck. Play frisbee or badminton on the front lawn, wander down the path through pine trees and blueberry bushes to the water, picking blueberries and raspberries along the way (in season). Enjoy the view from the rocky coast or walk down the dirt road to a communal cove with easy wading and swimming access.
