Located in Newport, Texas, United States. Eagle Vista Cottage at the old Sacheen Lake Resort This cottage is on the property that once made up the Sacheen Lake Resort. It has a great view that looks across a wide expanse of lawn to beautiful Sacheen Lake and across to the low mountains that surround the lake. There is a dock with a diving board and a beach with a firepit that can be used when there is no fire ban. Sometimes you can see an eagle looking for a meal from a tree down in front of the cabin. There is a volleyball court for the active among you. It is a beautiful tranquil setting where you can relax or be as active as you want to be. If you make a reservation request on Saturday or Sunday, you will not get a response until the following Monday.
