Our rustic log cabin, nestled into a hillside at 8100 feet elevation, looks out across a valley at the spectacular 14,000-foot Sangre de Cristo mountain range, in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Located 35 minutes on well maintained gravel mountain roads from Canon City. Several brand new beds(may 2014 they were purchased), making all beds in the cabin comfortable!!! Kicking back on the front deck, you have a panoramic view of mountains on three sides. And, sitting on a private 11-acre wooded lot, you have peace, quiet and seclusion – your nearest neighbor is 200 yards away.. The cozy great-room/kitchen area is the perfect place for family fun – a gas fireplace, comfy sofas around a game table, and a fully equipped kitchen.
