Hoot Mon Lake House is located in North Windham, Maine, an easy 30 minute drive from Portland International Jetport (PWM) and about 2 hours and 15 minutes north of Boston. Four generations of our family have spent countless summer days lounging on the beach, playing in the water and enjoying the incredible sunsets here on Sebago Basin. The Basin is a smaller outlet of Sebago Lake (connected to the larger lake by a boat-friendly passage under a bridge.) The lake is dotted with islands at the south end and home to many loons and painted turtles. Our lake house is at the end of a small lane and about ten steps from the beach. Our road is a dead end with other camps on it and is therefore a quiet and neighborly little community. Hoot Mon has three floors and two full bathrooms. There are two private bedrooms.
