Cherished, historic cabin in the rainforest with views of Church Mt that blends with a wildlife preserve. Just down the highway1/3 mile, there are some great restaurants, the Wake n Bakery, Graham's restaurant and grocery store, Chair 9 and the Mt. Baker ski area is a 20 minute drive to the ski area. Free WIFI and parking. 3 beds, 2 bathrooms, a private master bedroom and beautiful carpets through out the cabin. We have some great movie selections, books and music and a fabulous sound system. Please supervise children not to operate any electronic equipment.Cabin history: This historic cabin was built by Otto T. Trott, M.D. who was co founder and physician of Mountain Rescue of the U.S.A and Ski Patrol doctor at Mt. Baker for 44 years. Dr. Trott was also an original organizer of the National Volunteer Ski Patrol. He was a famous diagnostician, surgeon, epidemiologist and tuberculosis expert and his teaching lectures are still being us
