Come stay at the "Powerhouse" (the 1 story house in the middle of the 3 houses) in historic White City, built in the 1930’s to supply electricity for the lighthouse that’s a short walk down the breakwater. The Powerhouse was converted into a residence and sits on a secluded 16 acre property with 2 other houses; The Captain's house and The Duplex, which used to house the lightkeepers. You’ll find beautiful White City Beach and a free public boat launch both only a 5 minute walk from the house. One main attraction that’s in view from the house is the Keweenaw Waterway Lower Entry Lighthouse. White City is definition of a relaxing environment with tons of activities to keep everyone occupied. Pull up a chair on the breakwater and take in the views of Keweenaw Bay (Lake Superior) or grab a fishing pole.
