Park entry lines in the summer can get long, and your location gets you closer to the front. Spend your days exploring all that Rainier has to offer. Evenings can be enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit, or in the gazebo with the grill. A second cabin is located on the property and can be rented, if available, and more space is needed. The cabin is less than a mile to the entry gate of Mt Rainier. The Park service has started requiring timed entry permits for entering the park from May 24th through September 2nd in 2024. You can get your permits on the Recreation dot gov website. Make sure you get your ticket for the Paradise corridor.
