Our cottage is on a bluff amongst the shade on the west shore of Hamlin Lake. Below the bluff is one of the few true beaches on the lake, where the shallow water, unencumbered by a breakwater, gently gets deeper over a long distance at a gradual pace. If you like to frolic and play in the water (or learn to swim), this is the place! 4 kayaks and 2 SUP's are on the semi-private beach for further adventures, Behind the cottage, just west, is one of the highest sand dunes in the region of the Nordhouse Dunes and Ludington State Park.
