Oak Street Retreat borders the exclusive King and Prince resort which includes St. Simon’s ONLY oceanfront restaurant, ECHO! Aside from serving three meals a day, ECHO also has a spacious bar and occasional live music. Within short walking distance are island food favorites Crab Trap, Crabdaddy’s, and Beachcomber BBQ and new but excellent locations, Fiddlers and Barrier Island Brewery. You will also find the local beach gear and bike rental shop, Ocean Motion, around the corner. The beach is a short 200 yard stroll from the front door.
