Beautifully Renovated Classic Vermont Lake View Cottage Centrally located in the heart of Vermont's beautiful Northeast Kingdom, The Honeymoon Cottage is the ideal place for couples, honeymooners, hiking/kayaking and biking adventures, fishing and more!The Honeymoon Cottage was built at the dead end of a dirt road as a guesthouse in 1930 as part of a resort along the lines of the Patrick Swayze Dirty Dancing movie, in which people from away would rent a cottage with access to a mess hall, roller rink, tennis courts and of course the beach.Only vestiges remain with the kind of privacy, views and open space that you would expect. Many of the larger houses were torn down, including the main house to the Honeymoon Cottage in 2018. The Honeymoon Cottage is the very last cottage at the dead end of a quiet dirt road with spacious grounds and the best views in the whole association.
