'Cottage by the Bay' is a place where families can enjoy their time on the canal with Kayaks, and Stand-Up Paddle Board. We have included boogie-boards and Beach Chairs for your use as well! Both young and old alike will enjoy fishing from the backyard, with lights provided for night fishing. Take a kayak on a kayak trail through nearby "Galveston Island State Park" (We provide life vests at no cost). Swim in the canal (we recommend wearing water shoes), or have a day of boating right from our boat slip (additional $20.00 per stay for boat slip use) or simply spend the afternoon grilling by the water or relaxing on the deck. The City of Jamaica Beach pool is typically open 6 days a week from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and charges $5/person for a day pass.)
