You can walk one-two blocks into town to go to resturaunts, grab the shuttle to Timberline, activities at Multipor/Ski Bowl, sleigh rides during the holidays, even a grocery store for the items you forgot.Government Camp is only 45 minutes from Portland and PDX by car.Our chalet is off a plowed street in winter and includes off street parking for 2-3 cars. Although it looks like a two story in the winter, it is actually three stories and includes a cozy living room with fireplace, half bath, kitchen and dining rooms on the second floor, upstairs is the master bedroom with queen and additional bedroom with a full and two twins. There is a shared full bathroom up there. In the basement or first floor is a family room with a woodstove, a futon, if needed, and a bedroom with a queen and a full bath.
