Located in Roaring Gap, North Carolina, United States. A retreat is waiting. Our home is a cozy cabin tucked up a lane, which is unknown even unto most locals. Our family rescued this 1970's cabin and have brought it back to life. It has an inviting master with half bath, and a large second bedroom which, is spacious including a twin over double bunk bed and a twin with rails, that can be added to accommodate a younger child. The living area is open with a seating area and TV that can be seen from kitchen or dining as well. The walls are white pine tung and grove, and give a warm cozy feel. The kitchen is open to the dining, and leads to the sun room complete with a foosball table. We are surrounded by woodland fauna and deer are a regular sight. Coffee on the porch is a favorite for us. We also have a fire pit and outdoor seating. You can walk down the lane to our local convenience shop if you forgot anything, or if you just want to grab a homemade sandwich, burger or pizza. Our kids love walking down to pick from the ice cream treats.
