It is a short distance from all the wonderful attractions located in Berkshire County, as well as Columbia County in New York -the heart of the Hudson Valley (only 1 mile over the mountain), and Litchfield County, Connecticut (only a 10 mile drive). There is no light pollution, and other than the sounds of nature, it is so quiet at night you can hear the beating of your heart. The house has two large decks and a smaller side deck that provide great views of the surrounding countryside. The only likely neighborhood residents you will see (we have) include bear, deer, moose, fox, eagles, hawks, ravens, and numerous owls.
