You have spectacular views of the sound. Sit back and watch the birds and the boaters come and go. You are also walking distance to the beach (5 minutes to the bay side and 6 minutes to the ocean side).The cottage is a classic beach house built in 1984. It has great furnishings throughout, a new deck to enjoy and a bulkhead boardwalk along the canal. Bring your crab traps, bring your boat, kayak and/or fishing gear. You can enjoy the water in the canal and also the convenience of everything else the island has to offer. There is an undeveloped barrier strip of land to the Northeast that will harbor wildlife and you are a quick paddle to Graveline Bay and beyond.Stairs to upstairs bedrooms are steeper than normal and may not be suitable for young children, elderly, or those with mobility problems.As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and tow
