It is a good location for exploring both sides of the parkThe house is close to main road and train tracks, the trains don't blow the horn because there is no crossing but you can hear them. IF YOU ARE A LIGHT SLEEPER PLEASE DON'T BOOK. The Great Bear Wilderness is right the back side of the house. Stanton lake hike (in the wilderness)is one of my favorites. The trailhead is 5 minute drive from the house. Stanton creek is a nice spot for picnics too. Our house has all the amenities completely furnished with linens, towels and dishes. There is a TV and a DVD player with a selection of DVD'S. There is no satellite TV. There are some games and puzzles and a pool table. There are some hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trail maps available and some activities you can do inside and around the park. The house features exterior security cameras. The cameras don't look into int
