Located in Eastsound, Washington, United States. A private getaway just minutes from beaches, lakes and town.. We live on beautiful Orcas Island, the gem of the San Juan Islands, off the coast of Washington State. Our cabin is at the foot of Buck Mtn. facing southwest. Our location is private and peaceful. We are minutes from all the amenities of the main village- Eastsound - where one finds the grocery store, organic food coop, restaurants, movie theatre, retail shops, Community Arts Center and more! The property is one of the original homesteads of the island. Our orchard is one of the few surviving from 1895 - most of the apple and pear trees (30+) are still robust producers! The original foundation is just behind the cabin. The family (Langells) abandoned the house when electric power became available. Our new cabin was built by Orcas locals using local wood.
