The old Upper Chetco School is now open as a rustic getaway for families, fishermen, hikers, bikers, swimmers and people who love the Chetco River! Short miles to Riverside Market going back to town or Loeb Park heading up river. As only locals know Brookings is home to the beautiful banana belt which comes with a marine layer frequent in the summer. Just above the fog line, enjoy a short trip to the ocean for the day and then retreat to sunshine and a swim in the river at Loeb Park or one of the many river bars on the Chetco. The South Wing consists of two large "schoolrooms." One with a modest kitchen and open living room. The living room has two couches and a futon that can be used as a bed.
