The original log cabin was replaced in the early 1980s by an architect designed spacious house that can comfortably hold a crowd or be intimate enough for a small group. It is situated on a large lakefront lot on the eastern shore of North Lake Leelanau with private woods to the south and deck overlooking the lake. The sunsets are breathtaking. This house provides easy access to the water with a long pier and unique recreational dock with boat lift. Boat launch is just 1/2 a mile down the road from the house. We also enjoy the only private marina on the lake so guests can easily dock their boats, ski-dos or a pontoon boat (available for rental in Lake Leelanau). The lakefront area is safe and easy for swimming and the water is crystal clear. There is no sandy beach at our site, but Nedow's Beach is reachable by boat right across the lake. Sunny rear patio is great for
