This dog friendly house( legal, licensed nightly rental with a current Okanogan County health permit as required by law) was built in 1955 and retains that old mid-century charm. The upstairs bedrooms feature the ever-so-popular 50's knotty pine paneling. The living room is cozy with a coffered ceiling. The stairs are narrow and steep with a handrail. The kitchen has been modernized, but still maintains some of the sense of Grandma's house. "Out back', through the back door is a deck on the north side of the house, with picnic tables and Weber gas BBQ.Recently, the house has been refreshed and updated. Gardens and lawns are being nurtured. Fresh paint. New furniture and beds. The whole works. The housekeeper recently told us that she used to live here 15 years ago, and her recollection was of a vegetable garden in the back yard. Perhaps that may get restored with her help.
