Holden Beach was voted top 10 family beaches and is a family friendly, non-commercialized, perfect spot for anyone who wants a break and loves the beach. The entire island is rental homes. This allows for families to relax and enjoy the spectacular beach without crowds of people. Holden Beach has several fun restaurants but no fast food or commercial shopping at all. The island is 7 miles long. A short bridge links the island to the mainland where more restaurants, shopping, and nightlife can be found if you like.
