Mansfield and near Smugglers Notch/Madonna Mt., Bolton Valley, and Cochran ski areas (20 minute drive to each). A vacation here is filled with a wide range of seasonal activities for the active and the relaxed. INTERESTED IN SKIING STOWE?While we are very close to Stowe Mountain Resort as the crow flies, we're actually on the *other side* of Mount Mansfield. In the summer, driving to Stowe takes 30 min via 108 to the north. In the winter, you have to go south to I-89 which takes 60 min. From our house, the closest downhill skiing option is Smugglers Notch Resort, which is 20 min away.
