The Canyon House may be the most worthy home away from home as it is only 30 feet from the rim and it is 800 feet to the river. You may not here a fish jump but you can hear the rapids below. Descriptions about the home from previous guests is simply "comfortable". I have used a lot of numbers and distances to my descriptions because this land is so expansive it is often difficult to capture on camera, but you are willing to try.
