The homesite once was the location of a 1920's fishing cabin with a handsome rock fireplace. Through the years, the cabin was eventually reclaimed by the mountains, but the fireplace remained. In 1960, the current owners discovered the fireplace and built a small, cozy cabin around it. Later on, two large additions were made to the little cabin: one for a master bedroom suite, and one for a large dining room. Also added to the grounds were a two-story garage and a two-story boathouse. The house and outbuildings are rustic and family friendly.The main house itself has four bedrooms, each with a full bathroom. There is also a sleeping loft with twin beds.
