The Inn's main house served as a hospital during local Civil War battles before assuming the role of a courthouse after the original Fauquier Courthouse burned down in 1853. Named after the Black Horse Cavalry, who fought during the Civil War, the Inn at Black Horse Manor stands as a testament to both history and hospitality.While we have ten exquisite suites in the Main Inn, we have two lovely presidential suites as well equipped with full kitchens and private baths.
