A hiking trail begins directly on the property and leads through miles of NYC environmental protected land forests and meadows passing a beautiful hidden swim pond with stunning views 3 minutes from the campsite. Pets are welcome, perfect spot for dogs to run off their leash !The central village of Andes is just a 15 minute drive. Margaretville is 25 minutes away.This a comfortable canvas tent includes a queen size bed , an air mattress and a wood burning fire stove. The campsite includes a picnic table, a fire pit with a grill, solar shower and a compost toilet.It’s a short 3-5 minute walk down a gentle slope to the campsite.We provide two 2 gallon glass jugs of drinking water, additional water for showers and cooking can be filled with a hose on the edge of the pond near the house or at the little stream downhill the campsite.There is a camp stove in the tent as well to keep you wa
