One can also walk to the Town of Westport (20 mins) or to Saugatuck restaurants or the Metro North train (15 mins) or one can bike to either in no time; Westport also has two beautiful beaches on the Long Island Sound for swimming as well as permanent barbecues set up for sunset dining on the beach, the beautiful Levitt Pavilion is down the river with free concerts and the Westport Playhouse are all in close proximity.
