Stunning views from our modern guest house of Mt Hood, the Gorge, and Hood River We chose to share our guest house primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guest house for our friends and you!We designed our 600 square foot modern guest house with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. It sits on concrete sonotubes about 18 feet up off the ground. The goal was to create a treehouse affect that evokes a visceral response as you hover above the trees looking out at the stunning views. It has expansive views of Hood River, Mt Hood, and our favorite view, looking directly down the gorge. Our guest house is accessed by a 30 foot long steel bridge.
