Located in Melvern, Kansas, United States. Welcome to "The Home Place" This two story farmhouse was probably built before 1900. The property was first purchased, from the railroad about 1874 and has only been owned by two families. Located off 31 Highway, 1 mile west and 1 mile south of Melvern, Ks. A short 3 1/2 miles from Melvern Lake. "The Home Place" is a great place for a weekend get away to the country, reconnecting with family and friends, or your hunting and fishing adventures. It has good sized yard for running around and a big front porch, just made for relaxing. The rate is $65 per night which includes one bedroom. 4 more bedrooms are located in the upstairs. They are $25 each per night. Each bedroom is equipped with a window air conditioner and base board heating for your personal comfort. We have supplied "The Home Place" all the comforts of home.
