Central Adirondack Lakefront Solar Cabin Johnson Pond is located 15 minutes north of the town of Schroon Lake in the heart of the Central Adirondacks. Schroon has grocery, hardware, dining and a movie theatre. There is a gas station with staples five minutes from the cabin. Keene Valley and Keene are 25-30 minutes northwest by car and Lake Placid is 40 minutes, all surrounded by hundreds of Adirondack hiking trails with some trails only minutes away. The two-story cabin was hand-crafted and built out by family members with beautiful wide-plank hardwood floors and wood detailing and is approx. 1500 square feet with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, (one private bath off the master bedroom with clawfoot tub, and one shared bathroom with shower, both on the second floor). The Chef's kitchen has a large island for cooking, a large fridge, a six-burner stovetop range, an oven and an outdoor gas grill.
