The Tellico Plains Inn, The Babcock Room The Tellico Plains Inn, originally established in 1916, is in the heart of Tellico Plains and the start of the Cherohala Skyway. The Inn was rehabbed in 2023 with modern flare but staying true to the character of a 100+ year old Inn. It is within walking distance to the local shops and minutes away from the Cherokee National Forest (Bald River Falls, Indian Boundary, trout fishing, hiking, kayaking). The Babcock Room has a king bed and a futon for sleeping needs of up to four guests. There is also an en suite bathroom with a walk-in tile shower. The room also has its own ductless heating and cooling unit, 55" smart TV, console/desk with two chairs, k-cup coffee machine and a mini fridge.
